Raise The White Flag Why is Palmer So Calm?--------------! OK, first, if you haven't heard,Coach Palmer has raised the white flag and conceded the 2000 season. More rookies will be tested in the last three weeks. The team has been hit by more injuries (and flags) than any team can endure. Even a team with depth could not withstand the barrage of trouble that has landed on our poor Browns. The season is over, with three games to play: At Jax, then hosting a tough Philly team and ending with Bowl bound Titans. Let's see that is three more loses, to end the season at 3 and 13. Lucky 13. The Browns will NOT get the first pick, thanks to an even more pathetic team in San Diego, that has the top pick locked up. But we will get another chance to select quality players, one of them in the top five slots at least. So, back to Cool Chris Palmer. Why doesn't he get more involved when the Browns get screwed time and again by horrible calls. Case in point was the clean sacks by Courtney Brown and Jamir Miller that were ruled roughing and set up game ending scores for our opponents. Palmer was quiet on the side lines. While Browns fans everywhere were screaming at the bad calls. zzzzzzz Palme He just does not reflect the intensity of the fans. Fans that sell out for two years since The re-birth of the team. Browns fans are rabid, they want to see intensity, not a nearly sedated, quiet, head coach. We do not want a team with a head coach that displays the game day intensity of a chess match in Lima, Ohio. Scream at those antique refs once in a while! Show some hustle and emotion on the sidelines, instead of the Pillsbury doughboy look. Get rid of those overpaid players that are afraid to tackle or hit. And make sure you beat (up at least) Billick's Baltimore Bully Ravens next year. Happy Holidays, Go
Browns,
