Top Ten Reasons Browns 2002 Season is Not Over,
Even with the Loss To Pittsburgh

Browns fans and experts that had us as a playoff team are in shock over our 4 and 5 start. Browns fans again have sold out the 73,000 seat Cleveland Browns Stadium, while super bowl quality teams, like the Raiders, rarely sell out a smaller stadium. Browns fans have been very patient with the new Browns, but the clock has run out. We deserve and demand more leadership and guts from the highly paid star players.

Lowly paid players like DE # 90 Mark Word and Tyrone Rogers seems to have more spark and drive than No. 1 pick, high paid Courtney Brown. Kelly Holcomb plays better with a broken leg than many starters in the NFL. Maybe too much is made of the QB value. But I value that position the most. The QB should be the leader, the motivator and the one that can remain COOL when the heat is on, not melt.

Here is a ranking of what is right with the 2002 Browns:

10. Courtney Brown is getting better each week, however so painfully small steps, but the right direction.
9. Offensive line is slightly better than last season.
8. Rookie RB Will Green, like C. Brown, is slowly getting better.
7. The Browns usually have great second half game adjustments.
6. The NFL Refs do not call everything possible against the Browns
5. Jamel White continues to show heart and speed.
4. WR Northcutt has the confidence to succeed as one of the best return men in the game.
3. WR Quincy Morgan fights and holds on to the ball to match his speed.
2. Kelly Holcomb is soon to be healthy again.
1. We play Cincinnati two times each year! (see you Nov 17!)

This is surely not a boring season, voice your opinion. Call me, e mail me, but don't give up: Browns fans need to move forward, not dwell on the past and try to enjoy this season. It may turn for the better! And I wish Tim and all the Browns the best in the games to come. My aim is true: we want the best personnel on the field, playing hard and leading the Browns to win again.

Enjoy the Browns week off (Nov 10) and see you Sunday Nov 17!

Go Browns 2002!
